Job Title: Business Compliance Head

Location: Karachi
Minimum Education: Graduation from a reputable institute recognized by HEC
- Minimum Requirement:
- 10+ years of relevant banking experience in leading and coordinating audits and inspections.
- Excellent understanding of Finance, Regulations, Laws, AML/KYC and Fraud Risk management.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Hands-on experience in Microsoft Office and Core Banking Applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as the principal interface between the Bank, except RBG, and Compliance Group, to provide on-going advice on regulatory matters to support and monitor compliance, and ensure regulatory implementation.
- Highlight and escalate significant compliance issues to respective Unit/Group Heads and follow up for Corrective Action Plans and closure.
- Ensure dissemination of all circulars, letters and instructions issued by the regulators and updates thereto, to respective business units, along with Advisories on them.
- Advise/provide training on understanding of regulations/changes for effective implementation.
- Review and sign-off with Group Head Compliance on Product and Credit Programs, Policies & Procedures, Advertisements, and all other related matters, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk-based onsite/offsite reviews of all areas of Bank, except Retail Banking, to assess compliance with related rules & regulations, policies & procedures, and ensure quality and timely submission of data.
- Preparing, updating and implementation of Departmental Compliance Grids through RCSAs.
- Coordinating with SBP, Banking Mohtasib Pakistan and LEAs, as and when required.
- Act as the Bank's focal person and coordinate with all departments for onsite SBP Inspection, if assigned or tasked.
- Monitoring, reviewing and analyzing SBP Inspection Reports, and CAP closure/implementation.
