Minimum Education: Graduation from HEC recognized University/Institute
Minimum Requirement:
- 5+ years of relevant experience including
- Excellent analytical, numerical and MIS skills
- Excellent understanding of AML/KYC and the regulatory environment
- In-depth knowledge of products, operations, consumer risk activities & banking systems
- Regulatory application on all Consumer Banking activities
- Ability to conduct on-site/ off-site reviews
- Relationship Management Skills
- Problem Resolution Skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as principal interface between Retail Business, its Operations and Compliance Group
- Ensure completion of tasks and responsibilities related to designated functions/areas as mentioned in SBL’s Compliance Program
- Highlight & report compliance issues relating to the assigned functions/areas to relevant Business/Group Head, Retail Compliance Head and Group Head Compliance
- Maintain repository of material compliance issues and follow up for timely closure.
- To review and sign off policies, procedures & product programs developed by assigned business units/departments to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
- Provide ongoing advice on regulatory compliance related matters.
- Developing, periodically reviewing and obtaining sign off on Compliance Grids related to designated functions
- Ensuring that RCSA Grids provide coverage to the applicable regulatory requirements
- Conducting periodic reviews of assigned branches & functions and report findings to respective Business/Group Head & Retail Compliance Head
- Coordinate & facilitate SBP inspection of the assigned functions/areas, assisting & advising the concerned units/functions for timely & appropriate responses
- Ensure closure of outstanding items of Corrective Action Plan related to SBP Inspection, Compliance reviews and/or any regulatory compliance issue reported by ARR and External Auditors.
- Disseminating the regulatory instructions & advisories to the related units/departments and ensuring their implementation in a timely manner
