International Day of Family Remittance

Samba Bank Limited (SBL) and Pakistan Remittance Initiative (PRI) are pleased to endorse and celebrate “International Day for Family Remittances” (IDFR) on 16^th June as declared by International Fund for Agriculture Development of United Nation Organization.

The theme for this year’s #FamilyRemittances campaign is “Digital remittances towards financial inclusion and cost reduction”, which recognizes the positive impact of digital remittances not only on reducing transfer costs but also on enabling financial and digital inclusion amongst the most vulnerable groups of senders and recipients.

We are proud to join hands with the international remittance community to pay tribute to Overseas Pakistani’s who, even though separated by distance, have played an important and integral part in helping their loved ones and country flourish!
